This provocative title is the name of an unusually interesting thesis and video by Dr. Maulana. While walking through the gallery of the Center for Art and Culture in Accra, Ghana I came across a wall hanging that immediately aroused my curiosity. It was not only the art work, but the content or informative subject matter that truly held my attention. On a piece of silk cloth is a map of with the sphinx and the pyramids and several lines and arrows showing the migration patterns of the greater ethnic groups of Africa. This was nothing new but nonetheless interesting because it concurred with the evidence discovered by researchers such as Dr. Sheik Anta Diop, Dr. Ben Johannan and others in America and Europe.

The birth and migration of the first human beings on earth has been the subject of a series of documentaries on CNN and Discovery channel. All evidence point to East Africa or as given in the Bible or great poets, the area of origin exits between the Nile, the Tigres and Euphrates rivers. What is totally unique concerning the theory of Dr. Maulana is that he take the migration pattern even farther east to the mythological lost continent of Mu or Leumuria which sank below the Pacific ocean. Again there is nothing new about stories of Mu. Most people dealing with new age or spiritual science literature are familiar with Mu. However this is the first time that I have ever seen an attempt to use concrete evidence to link Mu to facts of recorded history in general and Africa in particular. For the past 26 years Dr. Maulana has been conducting research in Africa linking key words and stories from oral tradition to Mu. His evidence shows that the Akan of Ghana are the original inhabitants of ancient Egypt while the Ga and Ewe are the original Jews. Other great tribes inhabited the advanced ancient kingdoms of Mesopotamia. Dr. Maulana is dealing with facts and" mind boggling" theories that date back 100000 to 150000 years or more. He is dealing with the subjects of paleontology,palaeoanthropolgy and palaeoclimatology. He speaks of a time when the present day north and south pole were tropical regions and when many mountainous regions were once below the sea. Dr. Maulana theorizes that the origin of the white race began during one of the ice ages. Black people inhabited what is now Europe. Frigid temperatures began to set in causing most of the people to migrate to a warmer climate. Others decided to remain behind and endure the cold. Little did they know that this brutal winter would last 26,000 years.

Because human beings are adaptable animals,adjusting to the environmental requirements, they mutated into the white race. The skin no longer had use for the pigment melanin, which protects against the destructive rays of the sun. The nose became elongated with smaller slits and larger blood vessels to warm the cold air and protect the lungs. The hair became flat and straight to help with keeping the brain warm. Another interesting theory is the attempt of scientists to produce melanin artificially in laboratories because it is of absolute importance for the survival of the white race. This is interesting because I feel that science is always a step behind mother nature. Genetic engineering as in cloning or the preservation of sperm from Nobel prize laureates to create a more perfect race, only mimics what has transpired throughout religious history. The book of St. Matthew, the first book in the new testament of the Bible is a classic example.This is a book of genealogies.It is also a coded record of the genetic alchemy used to produce individuals with bodies capable of hold ing enormous amounts of cosmic energy. This process culminated with the body of Jesus, the prototype of the future. The process was natural. If nature has a demand, science has a way of meeting that demand as in manufacturing or synthesizing melanin. Nature has another way of solving the very same problem. If the white race truly needs melanin for survival, could this be the subs conscious reason the vast and growing number of interracial marriages ? Dr. Maulana`s video is truly thought provoking. It is a must to see. I anxiously await the day when DAPAMDA can invite him to Copenhagen for a face to face encounter.
